Branthwaites Late Equalizer Denies Tottenham All Three Points

Richarlison Keeps Spurs' Champions League Hopes Alive

Branthwaite's late equalizer denies Tottenham all three points

Everton 4-4 Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur's Champions League hopes suffered a blow on Sunday as they were held to a 4-4 draw by Everton at Goodison Park. Richarlison scored a hat-trick for Spurs, but it was Jarrad Branthwaite's 90th-minute equalizer that denied the visitors all three points.

The result leaves Tottenham in fifth place in the Premier League table, four points behind fourth-placed Arsenal. Everton, meanwhile, remain in 16th place, but they are now three points clear of the relegation zone.

The match was a thrilling end-to-end encounter, with both teams showing plenty of attacking intent. Tottenham took the lead in the 14th minute through Richarlison, but Everton equalized just four minutes later through Demarai Gray.

Spurs regained the lead in the 38th minute through Harry Kane, but Everton once again hit back quickly, with Richarlison scoring his second goal of the game just two minutes later.

The second half was just as entertaining as the first, with both teams creating a number of chances. Tottenham took the lead for the third time in the match in the 63rd minute through Son Heung-min, but Everton again equalized, this time through Anthony Gordon in the 70th minute.

Richarlison completed his hat-trick in the 86th minute to put Tottenham 4-3 ahead, but Branthwaite's late header earned Everton a deserved point.
